WhAT IS MY FOCUS?

Feel free to call me Dani, it’s always sounded more like home to me.

I’m a Gestalt therapist based in Granada, Spain. Born and raised in beautiful, nature-rich Cape Town in South Africa, Spain called me from an early age with its loud, passionate and playful culture, its rich history, boisterous language and sunny weather. I’ve been living here for 8 years, after travelling and working in Asia and the Caribbean.

I work with clients online and in-person, in English and in Spanish. I have a mix of clients: some are English speaking expats, based all over the world, and looking for a therapist who can offer familiarity; others are Spanish speaking, equally expats or living in Spain, and looking for someone more alternative and open minded. I offer both groups a multicultural perspective.

MY PASSION FOR GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPY

“We can’t take clients anywhere that we haven’t been ourselves”.

I wholeheartedly believe in my practice and in Gestalt therapy, because I have seen the transformation in my own life and in so many others. I don’t believe in therapy where the psychologist has not undergone their own therapeutic process.

I am real. I am human. I have flaws, fears, my own personality. I do not pretend to be perfect. I have been through this process myself and I know both the work it takes & how fulfilling and rewarding the work can be! Wellbeing requires a lifelong dedication to taking care of oneself. My own therapeutic process has given me the resources to do so. And I know that with the right tools you can do the same!
